Goal

To invite the lost and unsaved people to our churches for 24 April 2024. The purpose is to give special attention (service and prayers), to the unsaved as the Lord instructed us in the Great Commission.

Scriptural Foundation

·        Operation Andrew is a classic bring a friend church growth strategy based on John 1:40-45

·        Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus.

·        The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said,

·        “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter). The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee

Campaign Objectives

1.   Special prayer for the lost

2.   Sharing the gospel with the unsaved

3.   Special sermon by the Evangelism Directors

4.   For disciples to share the gospel

5.   To revive and grow our churches

6.   For the local churches to become participants in the outreach ministries

What the campaign is about

The campaign is about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost. It is executed at local churches and no cost is envisaged. Every local member is asked to invite and bring 1 or more unsaved members to the service. Go and pick-up those invitees if needed. It requires that we pray, prepare ourselves with scriptures and go to nearby houses to invite families. We also have to deliver a sermon that will provide an opportunity for them to accept Jesus Christ as Saviour. All this we do in obedience to the call of the Great Commission to share the gospel and teaching them to become disciples of Jesus. (Mark 16:15,16), and also to invite them to the great banquet (Luke 14:15-25)
